The siphon head screw holds the neck rubber in place. Unless damaged during maintenance of the siphon, it may be worth replacing only for aesthetics. Replacement is not usually necessary, although it can be found in some repair kits.
To loosen the screw, use the spanner tool. Without a spanner tool, it can be removed with the blunt side of a knife.
